We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Exact Glass Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing glass and glazing systems in commercial and residential settings. This includes determining the type of glass and materials required, measuring and cutting glass, and assembling and installing prefabricated glass and mirrors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass and materials required for each installation
  • Measure and cut glass to fit specific openings
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass and mirrors
  • Install door and window hardware
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding and rigging equipment
  • Transport cases of glass
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours of work per week
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
Education:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Setting:
  • Willing to relocate
  • Commercial and residential settings
