Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Student Clerk to join our Agro team in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. As a Part Time Student Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating the behaviors and actions to support Federated Co-operatives Limited's vision, mission, values, and safety principles.
  • Engaging and interacting with guests to create a positive shopping experience.
  • Coming to work with a positive and professional attitude and approach.
  • Being dependable for all shifts.
  • Over the counter sales of feed, agricultural parts, supplies, fuel, and lubricants.
  • Telephone answering and traffic direction with referral to appropriate members of the sales team.
  • Assisting with the receiving, operation till systems, conducting inventory counts and merchandising of all related products.
  • Communicating effectively with store leadership, file maintenance and yard clerks.
  • Operation of forklift and skid steer.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be currently or will be attending post-secondary education in the field of agriculture.
  • To be passionate and have strong technical skills and know-how of production agriculture.
  • To be well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • To be honest and trustworthy, results-orientated, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • To have the ability to lift heavy objects, manual labor is required.
  • To believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • To be willing and able to achieve WHMIS and TDG certifications.
  • To have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • To have a flexible work schedule including seasonal increases.
  • To have a valid Class 5 Driver's license.
  • To be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
