Essential Qualifications

  • Certification in Industrial Trade as an Industrial Electrician and/or PLC
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficiency in PLC programming
  • Capability to create and modify robot programs for brands such as ABB, Fanuc, and Panasonic
  • Experience in Mig, Stick, and Tig welding
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Certification in robot programming (ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic)
  • Familiarity with Labview is advantageous
  • Experience in troubleshooting robotic systems
  • Possession of overhead crane and forklift licenses
  • Background in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

  • Install power supply wiring and conduits for new machinery and equipment
  • Connect power supplies to various machines and establish interface wiring
  • Diagnose and repair electrical components, including transformers and motors
  • Test malfunctioning equipment and collaborate with management on solutions
  • Replace defective electrical parts and position sensing devices
  • Diagnose and repair electronic components, such as circuit boards
  • Plan and execute wiring layouts in buildings
  • Diagnose and replace mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
  • Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on presses
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
  • Be available for overtime and flexible shifts as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding issues
  • Exhibit good organizational skills and work independently
  • Comply with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Uphold 5S standards in the workplace
  • Engage in training as per internal requirements
  • Perform all duties in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
