Job Title: Tow Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team at ALG Automotive Lounge Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The Tow Truck Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing and recovering vehicles, as well as performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel overnight

Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job, and the successful candidate will be required to work in various locations.
