About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Detail Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Underlay and Underpadding Installation: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to provide a stable and even surface for flooring installation.
  • Carpet Installation: Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
  • Resilient Flooring Installation: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including vinyl, linoleum, and rubber flooring.
  • Floor Covering Repair and Maintenance: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring that our customers' floors remain in excellent condition.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each installation, ensuring that our customers receive accurate and competitive quotes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in floor covering installation.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
