About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at New Generation Concrete LTD. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of floor coverings for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Installation: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including hardwood, laminate, and tile.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring a seamless and durable finish.
  • Pre-Installation: Prepare floors for installations, including cleaning and leveling.
  • Technical Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate installation.
Work Environment

As a Floor Covering Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in floor covering installation.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
