Scientist II, Manufacturing Science and Technology Group

Job Summary:
As a Scientist II in the Manufacturing Science and Technology Group at Sun Pharma, you will be responsible for performing process development studies, executing batch and process qualification activities, and preparing technical documentation to support development and validation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute DOE's, process optimization studies, and process qualification batches.
- Compile and analyze process data using statistical tools.
- Develop documentation packages for process studies, characterization, process qualification, and cleaning validation.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality departments.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address problems and improve processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of six years of experience in solid oral dosage development.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and statistical tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:
Corporate office environment located in a manufacturing/production and warehouse facility.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate office and plant floor working environments.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum B.S. in a relevant science field, such as pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, or chemical engineering.
- M.S. preferred.
