Scientist II, MSTG

As a Scientist II in the Manufacturing Science and Technology Group at Sun Pharma, you will play a crucial role in the development and validation of processes for solid oral dosage development. Your expertise will be utilized to design and execute DOE's, process optimization studies, and process qualification batches. You will also be responsible for compiling and analyzing process data using statistical tools.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE's), process optimization studies, and process qualification batches.
- Compile and analyze process data using statistical tools.
- Develop documentation packages for process development, including process study, characterization, process qualification, and cleaning validation.
- Provide technical support to the Manufacturing and Quality departments.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address specific problems and improve processes.
- Minimum of six years of experience in process development and validation.
- Experience in solid oral dosage development is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide technical support to colleagues.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Projects, PowerPoint).
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate office and plant floor working environments. The ability to wear personal protective equipment and navigate the plant floor is also required.
Education and Qualifications- Minimum B.S. in a relevant science field, such as Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering.
- M.S. preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills.
