Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Accident and Health Claims Adjudicator to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate adjudication of Life/Specialty claims, including Critical Illness, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Personal Accident, and Business Credit Card Travel claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze complex claims to determine liability and make informed decisions
  • Communicate effectively with clients, claimants, and field staff to gather information and resolve claims
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless claims processing
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accident and Health Claims Adjudication
  • Licensed or working towards CIP designation
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field considered an asset
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software
