Job Title: Accounting Technician

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team at Eastern Millwork & Contracting Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including financial record-keeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets
  • Perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports, including budget variances and financial forecasts
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare account reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Perform other accounting tasks as required
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week.
