About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Padgett Pros Inc. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain and update accounting systems, including QuickBooks, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Willing to relocate for this position.
