You spearhead efforts to enhance retail operations and mentor Store Managers to deliver the brand's vision while executing service at the highest standard for the stores. You drive and monitor objectives and key results across all channels to achieve sales and financial targets. You cultivate brand awareness and loyalty, consumer touchpoints at all levels, and consumer engagement through brand events and customer service initiatives. You are well-connected and build relationships to elevate the brand and drive sales at relevant distribution points. Meet Your Future Team:
The Canada Commercial team is responsible for generating sales through all local D2C channels. We engage with customers where they shop and ensure Arc'teryx is represented consistently and at its best. As the retail landscape evolves, we collaborate to adapt our approach with creativity and teamwork.If you were the Area Operations Leader now, here are some of the core activities you would be undertaking:
- Leading your regional team to drive profitable revenue growth across all channels through seamless and exceptional consumer experiences, with a key focus on Arc'teryx Brand Stores.
- Coaching and developing Brand Store and Community Managers, establishing annual and seasonal objectives for each region and channel that will drive full-price sell-through, enhance engagement with our guests, and elevate the Arc'teryx community while adhering to budget constraints.
- Collaborating with your Store Managers to oversee retail operations for stores in your region, ensuring daily business aligns with the Brand Strategy and meets our financial and other measurable targets.
- In partnership with your Store Managers and HQ product partners, acting as the catalyst for the right product to be available at the right time and place to drive sales and margins within your region.
- Traveling throughout your region to ensure our stores are positioned for success (30 – 40% travel commitment).

- Collaborating with other Regional Managers to uncover new business opportunities, identify innovative working methods, and scale best practices with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Working with your teams to gain in-depth knowledge of your region to support brand expansion efforts.
Are you our next Area Operations Leader?
- You possess 5+ years of relevant experience, particularly in exceptional people leadership and best-in-class retail operations.
- You have managed retail operations and district management for owned retail, understanding the essential requirements for retail success.
- You are an outstanding people leader, capable of motivating and engaging a team to foster collaboration and achieve common goals in your area.
- You have experience across all forms of distribution, including owned retail development and growth.
- You are passionate about customer service and committed to delivering an exceptional experience for guests.
- You are an effective communicator, both in writing and verbally, able to articulate strategies and concepts clearly.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable interacting with diverse personalities.
- You are a strong advisor with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at a global level.
- You have exceptional organizational skills, analytical capabilities, and a proven track record in strategic planning.
- Experience in Arc'teryx Brand Store Management is a significant asset.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
- You demonstrate excellent decision-making skills and proactively identify root causes of issues while developing solutions.
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with uncertainty.

Compensation: A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$108,000 - CAD$141,800. Individual pay is determined by factors such as store volume, job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that this range reflects base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits.
