Job Summary

itec group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of OEM equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of Field Service Technicians to ensure efficient deployment of resources and timely completion of service requests.
  • Service Planning: Plan and coordinate daily service activities to meet customer needs and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and mentorship to develop the skills and capabilities of the service team.
  • Schedule Management: Manage service schedules and prioritize assignments based on customer needs and SLAs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, including Engineering and Sales, to address technical issues, customer requirements, and service improvements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and procedures during service operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review service reports, including documentation of work performed, parts used, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a Field Service Supervisor or similar leadership role, preferably in the OEM equipment industry.
  • Technical Background: Strong technical background in troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate customer requirements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
