Job Title: Journeyman Power Line Technician

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Power Line Technician to join our team at Drake International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing power distribution systems across Western and Northern Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain power distribution systems to ensure safe and reliable electricity supply
  • Operate radial arm diggers and Hot line buckets to perform maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used to ensure transparency and accountability
Requirements:
  • Interprovincial Red Seal Powerline Certificate
  • Rubber glove training verification (an asset)
  • Experience in power distribution and electrical linework
  • Live line experience (an asset)
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license
  • Strong self-motivation, positive attitude, and good work ethic
  • Ability to pass a negative Drug & Alcohol test
