Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the supply logistics of various terminals in Eastern Canada, managing the railcar fleet, and ensuring product quality management for marine terminals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage gasoline/distillate supply activities and inventories at marine Eastern terminals.
  • Coordinate import/export marine movements.
  • Resolve supply issues at marine terminals.
  • Optimize the use of available means of transportation to supply Eastern terminals by marine.
  • Ensure product quality management for marine terminals and lead efforts to resolve quality issues.
  • Manage all aspects of conventional railcar and train fleets, including agreements, maintenance, requirements, and rental invoices.
  • Execute LPG contracts and work closely with LPG Sales representatives.
  • Act as the primary contact within the Procurement group for conventional tank car requests.
  • Review and analyze sales data, prepare product demand forecasts, and logistics requirements.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to invoicing and monthly reconciliation of invoices payable to railways companies and private storage costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or logistics.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bilingual - French and English (spoken and written).
  • Experience in the petroleum industry is a strong asset.
  • Strong Excel and SAP/SAP BW knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong team player with initiative and leadership skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
