About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our electrical department in Edmonton, AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading electrical project execution, managing business development activities, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical project execution, including design, planning, and implementation.
  • Manage business development activities, identifying opportunities in the local market and developing strategies to capture them.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members, ensuring designs comply with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Manage department recruiting efforts, annual reviews, timesheet and expense report approvals, performance management, and team member relations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of electrical project engineering experience within a building services environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience in managing a team.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a local and national team of leaders.
  • Able to work in a complex, fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple projects, deadlines, and clients.
  • Solid understanding of provincial building codes, Canadian Electrical Code, CSA, ULC, IEEE, IES, and NFPA standards.
