Job Summary
Lafarge Construction is seeking a Loader Operator to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring the safety of company personnel, the community, and the environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including loaders, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including washing, greasing, and refueling.
- Monitor and ensure accurate weights and material production within specifications.
- Ensure consistent feed to maintain a quality product.
- Adhere to all company safety and environmental practices and policies.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all equipment service records.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
- Min 2 years of experience operating a loader.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to read survey markings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment.
- Willing to work overtime and shifts when needed.
