Job Summary

Lafarge Construction is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating a front-end wheel loader to load and transport materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a front-end wheel loader to load and transport materials
  • Assist the plant operator with daily operations and upkeep of the plant
  • Perform repair and maintenance on the plant under the direction of the plant foreman or lead hand
  • Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment
  • Monitor and ensure accurate weights and material production within specifications
  • Responsible for completing daily equipment checklist and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a loader
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced, high-production environment
  • Willingness to work overtime and shifts when needed, including Saturdays
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
