Retail Operations Supervisor

As a Department Manager, you will play a vital role in driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from overseeing daily operations to developing marketing strategies and resolving customer issues.
Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 employees, assigning duties and providing guidance to ensure optimal performance.
- Analyze market trends and consumer demand to identify opportunities for growth and adjust merchandise offerings accordingly.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote products and services, driving customer engagement and sales.
- Establish pricing policies and credit procedures, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and maximizing profitability.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability while minimizing waste and loss.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Plan, organize, direct, and control daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient execution of tasks.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, electronic schedulers, inventory control software, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
