We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our team at Allergan. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational input into core medical affairs activities, including securing insights, developing scientific value, advancing pipeline assets, and providing strategic medical input to cross-functional partners.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of medical strategies, including comprehensive gap assessments, scientific communications platforms, scientific narratives, integrated evidence plans, and medical strategic plans.
- Medical Affairs Initiatives: Lead and support Medical Affairs initiatives for assigned assets/indications, including tactical execution of core medical affairs activities.
- Clinical Development Trials: Develop and execute Medical Affairs support of priority clinical development trials, including HCP and stakeholder interactions, insight capture, and interpretation of clinical and scientific data.
- Medical Education and Advisory Boards: Contribute to the development of and lead the execution of Medical Education/Advisory Board & EE Engagement Plans, aligning with Therapeutic Area plans.
- Scientific Data Generation: Generate clinical and scientific data per evidence gap assessment, and manage the budget for assigned projects.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in the sciences, with an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, PA, or NP) preferred.
- Experience: Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements governing clinical trials, and experience in the design of protocols preferred.
- Skills: Ability to gain cooperation of others, conduct presentations of technical information, and interact with internal stakeholders (commercial, clinical operations, discovery, statistics, regulatory, etc.).
