Job Title: Truck Fleet Foreman/Woman

Pride Fleet Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Fleet Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck fleet, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
  • Dispatching: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely delivery of goods, while minimizing delays and costs.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit production and other reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, in consultation with management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, and team player.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Setting: Office and warehouse environment.
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 42 hours per week.
