Job Title: Conflict and Risk Management Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conflict and Risk Management Assistant to join our team in Toronto. This is a 12-month contract position.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for setting up, managing, and monitoring ethical walls, responding to inquiries and resolving issues. You will also be identifying and elevating conflicts issues and liaising with Information Technology (IT) on software updates and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct conflict searches through multiple request forms ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Identify and elevate conflicts issues
  • Liaise with IT on software updates and process improvements
  • Provide five-star service to the team
  • Assist with conflict surveys for lateral hires, generating reports, updating public company lists, opening and maintaining lists of directorships, participating in ethical wall and conflict projects
  • Draft and revise correspondence, process invoices and other related tasks
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, ideally in a legal environment. You should have strong client service skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment with quick deadlines, and have exceptional attention to detail skills. You should also be confident with new technology and have good judgment, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
