Job Title: Distinguished Engineer for Platform Memory Subsystem Architecture

Lenovo, a global technology powerhouse, is seeking a seasoned technical leader to drive innovation in memory subsystem architecture. As a Distinguished Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the organization's knowledge and expertise on the latest memory technologies and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of memory subsystem architecture and design, ensuring the highest levels of reliability and quality.
  • Collaborate with industry leaders and internal teams to advise on system architecture design from memory and memory subsystem perspectives.
  • Drive common portfolio level memory subsystem architecture and provide deep expertise on memory RAS feature planning and implementation.
  • Conduct research and lead proof of concept for future memory subsystem technologies.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of work experience with hands-on development and 5 years in architecture leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of error correction algorithms and memory controller design at the RTL level.
  • Knowledge and experience with statistical analysis of DIMM failure rates/modes.
  • Deep understanding of alternate memory interconnects and architectures.
  • Experience innovating and working with software and firmware enablement of advanced memory RAS.
