Job Overview: Director of Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities
  1. Network Supply Planning: Oversee a team of managers to create and sustain comprehensive Network Supply Plans for designated products.
  2. Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Direct the monthly S&OP Supply Planning process, including the facilitation of the Monthly Supply Review meeting.
  3. Inventory Management: Establish risk-based inventory management strategies that are well-defined, justified, and endorsed for materials across the entire supply network.
  4. Scenario Planning: Conduct strategic 'what-if' analyses to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment of manufacturing and supply plans with commercial demand and inventory strategies.
  5. Systems Development: Create, maintain, and enhance planning systems for current and future commercial products, collaborating closely with Quality, Finance, and Business Process Excellence teams to ensure compliance and transaction controls.
  6. Long-Range Planning: Coordinate the development of a 5-Year Units plan for all assigned products, along with management-level reporting to support product network strategy and lifecycle management.
  7. Operations Management:
    • Supply Chain Processes: Develop and refine processes to ensure timely delivery of materials, including Raw Materials, Excipients, API, Drug Product, Packaging Components, and Finished Goods.
    • Supplier Relationship Management: Ensure comprehensive supply chain support for the Supplier Relationship Management program to facilitate the execution of the Network Supply Plan.
    • Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE): Lead Supply Chain initiatives within the External Operations S&OE and/or Operations S&OE processes as necessary.
    • Performance Management: Oversee supply chain KPI reporting, analysis, and enhancement for assigned products, supporting the achievement of operational performance targets.
    • Budget Management: Lead the budget and quarterly update processes for the Commercial Supply Chain.
    • Purchasing Operations: Execute purchasing functions for External Operations in accordance with departmental procedures and procurement policies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 12+ years of experience, or a Master's degree in Supply Chain or Business with 9+ years of experience.
