Job Summary

Gora Jaimal Wala Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Documentation: Driver logbook
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player
  • Work Environment: 40 to 50 hours per week
Language and Work Environment

The work language is English and the work environment is a permanent position.
