About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Alpha 1 Transport Inc. as an Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and arrange seminars, conferences, and other events to support the company's objectives.
  • Office Management: Establish and maintain office procedures and routines to ensure efficient operations.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for company personnel.
  • Communication: Respond to phone calls, relay messages, and greet visitors in a professional manner.
  • Documentation: Prepare, type, and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the office.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Work Setting: Transportation, communication, and utilities industries.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Office.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, repetitive tasks, and large workload.
  • Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, flexibility, team player, client focus, reliability, time management, and adaptability.
