Rack Petroleum Ltd. is currently seeking a highly skilled and analytical professional to join their team as an Ultimate Yield Advisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the bounds of the company's 6 factor Ultimate Yield program and processes. This will involve specializing in producing and improving crops by implementing new management techniques, utilizing critical thinking and research information to develop the best methods to increase crop production and quality while meeting the goals of the company's growers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold meetings with customers to increase sales of the Ultimate Yield Management Institute (UYMI) and to retain the current customer base.
  • Work with all facets of the farming operation, providing valuable information to support growers in making management decisions.
  • Conduct field production appraisals and create recommendations for customers.
  • Manage customer soil tests and tissue tests.
  • Regularly check for quality of crop growth, weeds, and insects through field scouting.
  • Recommend the usage of appropriate chemicals and fertilizers for customers, including precision farming customers.
  • Organize and host customer events, including field tours and agronomic information meetings.
  • Work in coordination with the Ultimate Yield Research Team.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have completed a Bachelor's Degree or Master's of Science in Agriculture.
  • A member of the Soil and Industry Association (SIA) in good standing.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in soils or plant science.
  • Impeccable communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Demonstrated sales ability.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven.
  • Ability to relate well with growers.
  • The incumbent must live in or near the community of North Battleford.
