We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Green Gables Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Participate in programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, and Indigenous people.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language of work.
