Position Overview

As a Shipping Clerk at Fromages la Chaudière Inc, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include managing the shipment process and ensuring the accuracy of incoming and outgoing goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and determine the most effective method of shipment
  • Prepare and assemble containers and crates for dispatch
  • Inspect and verify incoming products against invoices or other documentation
  • Maintain an organized internal record-keeping system
  • Pack goods securely for shipping
Equipment and Machinery

Familiarity with pallet lifters is essential for this role.

Physical Requirements

The position demands the ability to:

  • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Pay attention to detail and perform repetitive tasks
  • Handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Manage a large workload effectively
