Job Summary:
Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at Kelowna General Hospital. As a Cardiology Technologist, you will work independently within a supportive team to conduct various cardiology tests, including ECG, stress testing, and Holter monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for tests by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring accurate data collection.
- Perform non-invasive examinations, record data accurately, and monitor patients during tests, taking necessary actions based on findings.
- Transfer and organize ECG data for medical interpretation, and assist colleagues with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Participate in Quality Management programs, training initiatives, and continuously update clinical knowledge to stay current with industry developments.
