We are currently looking for a skilled professional to become part of our Corporate Services team as a Procurement Advisor. This role involves offering expert guidance, assistance, and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders of the Yukon Government. We seek a motivated, detail-oriented, and quick-learning team member who excels in communication, analytical thinking, research, and stakeholder engagement. Our team promotes a cooperative work environment that encourages effective communication and teamwork across the Yukon Government.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet each of the following qualifications. Selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information provided in your resume.

  • Experience in contracting and/or procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in drafting, developing, and managing documents, guides, and tools to facilitate program delivery and contract oversight.
  • Experience in client service and/or stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret policies with the aim of providing options and recommendations.
  • Possession of a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or Public Sector Procurement Program (PSPP) certification, or similar supply chain qualifications, would be advantageous.
  • Experience in project management would be a plus.

Candidates with education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may also be considered.
