Senior Marketing Strategist, Seller Development, Amazon Fashion Marketplace

We are in search of a dynamic marketing professional to spearhead the growth of promising brands on Amazon. As a leading marketplace, Amazon serves millions of sellers eager to enhance their business; this position will focus on pinpointing sellers with significant growth potential, crafting marketing strategies for these sellers both on and off the platform, collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders to implement these strategies, and subsequently measuring and optimizing initiatives for scalable success. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, adaptable, and skilled in formulating well-informed strategies to tackle complex challenges while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop tools such as analytical reports and business intelligence models to identify sellers with growth potential.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to devise strategies addressing the identified growth opportunities for sellers.
  3. Clearly articulate strategies, both verbally and in written form, to business and finance leadership.
  4. Oversee the comprehensive execution of various projects and campaigns, monitoring and reporting on key milestones.
  5. Create systems to evaluate performance and share insights.
  6. Build trust with internal and external partners, balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Engage with regional and global teams to exchange ideas, best practices, and results to support growth in other markets.

About the Team:

The Amazon Marketplace is an essential component of the Amazon consumer business, providing millions of sellers the opportunity to develop and expand their business leveraging Amazon's extensive reach and expertise. Our sellers are our customers, and we are dedicated to assisting them in marketing their products to hundreds of millions of customers globally. We are seeking a skilled marketer to lead our Seller programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of professional marketing experience, excluding internships.
  2. 6+ years of experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs.
  3. Proficient in utilizing data and metrics to drive enhancements.
  4. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  5. Proven track record in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing initiatives.
  6. Fluent in English and Japanese at a business level.
  7. Experience in guiding direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  8. Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
