Position Overview

As a Child Care Support Specialist at Golden Minds Montessori Inc., you will play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of young children. Work Environment

You will be working in a daycare center or nursery school, where your contributions will directly impact the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers.
  • Maintain and organize daycare equipment.
  • Engage children through storytelling and creative activities.
  • Support early childhood educators in implementing programs that enhance children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead activities such as reading stories, teaching songs, and organizing outings.
  • Help educators or supervisors with record-keeping.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various forms of art, music, and play.
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and toileting.
  • Prepare snacks and set up environments for meals and rest periods.
  • Document observations on children's progress for educators or supervisors.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Plan and create a safe and nurturing environment that prioritizes children's health and well-being.
  • Organize activities for school-age children in childcare programs during non-school hours.
Supervision

Supervise a small group of 3-4 individuals.

Target Audience

Children in early childhood settings.

Safety and Security

A criminal record check is required for this position.
