Job Overview

We are seeking a committed Childcare Specialist to provide nurturing care in a private household setting. This role is essential for ensuring the well-being and development of children in a safe and supportive environment.

Employment Details
  • Employment Type: Permanent

  • Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Work Environment
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (not a condition of employment)
  • Work will take place in the employer's/client's home
Key Responsibilities
  • Support parents with toilet training and child discipline as per their guidance
  • Take full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light cleaning and housekeeping tasks
  • Accompany family on trips, assisting with child supervision and household duties
  • Care for infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social skills
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment
  • Organize recreational activities such as games and outings
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals
  • Assist children in their rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children during daily activities
  • Transport children to school and appointments
  • Attend to the emotional needs of children
  • Support children with their homework
