Homewood HealthTM is currently seeking qualified mental health practitioners who are interested in providing services on a flexible, contract basis for our Enhanced Mental Health Care, Depression Care, and Trauma Care Programs throughout New Brunswick.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) methodologies to address issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use.
  • Formulate treatment strategies and track client development throughout the therapeutic process utilizing our Measurement-Based Care platform.
  • Maintain adherence to professional standards and established best practices.
  • Participate in clinical consultations with the management team as necessary.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Registration or clinical membership with the appropriate governing body, enabling the provision of Psychotherapy services in your area of practice.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical counseling experience following the completion of your Master's degree.
  • Experience in Trauma/PTSD counseling, particularly with First Responder populations, is highly advantageous.
  • Specialized training and/or experience working with First Responder groups is a significant asset.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise specified by Homewood HealthTM.
  • Proficiency in delivering counseling services in either English or French is essential.
  • Additional language counseling proficiency is considered a strong asset.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook) is required.
