About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Moncton. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement and evaluate treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical reasoning to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
  • Develop and implement return-to-work programs, providing job coaching and accommodation recommendations to support clients' successful reintegration into the workforce.
  • Utilize electronic charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and interdisciplinary team, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance client care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in occupational therapy.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WCB referrals is an asset.
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset.
