About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Moncton. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Provide education and training to clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs by providing job coaching and accommodation recommendations.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Requirements
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE Trained.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long term disability, and WCB referrals is an asset.
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset.
