Position Overview

As a Glass Installation Specialist at On Set Glass, you will play a crucial role in the installation and repair of various glass products. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive top-quality service and craftsmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the glass installation field is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the type of glass, frames, and materials needed for each project.
  • Accurately measure, mark, and cut glass to required specifications.
  • Securely position and install glass panes within frames.
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass products, mirrors, and other glass items.
  • Install various hardware including doors and windows.
  • Create and prepare shop drawings as necessary.
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures as needed.
  • Set up, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
  • Perform tasks at heights using scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Operate man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to work at heights.
