Job Summary

The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes to perform excavation, demolition, and construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours of work per week
Working Conditions

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and safety procedures, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
