We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate, Client Operations, Financial to join our team at MUFG Investor Services. As a key member of our client operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial reporting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge of financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, pro forma, roll forwards, workings, and drafts.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with investment managers and auditors to resolve day-to-day operational issues and ensure timely delivery of client financial reporting.
- Deliverables: Prepare or coordinate all client financial reporting deliverables and associated reports as required, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational procedures and controls.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure all internal and external deliverables are met, and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and audit firms.
- Regulatory Environment: Develop an understanding of the financial and regulatory reporting environment, ensuring all processes are performed in accordance with operational procedures and controls.
- Stakeholder Communication: Respond to various stakeholder queries in a comprehensive and timely manner, providing clear and concise information.
- Education: Post-secondary education with a concentration in finance, accounting, mathematics, or related fields.
- Qualifications: Ideally studying towards a relevant professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CFA.
- Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a financial reporting role.
