Job Summary
MUFG Investor Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Associate to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining complete sets of books, preparing journals, and posting entries. You will also support the preparation of monthly financial statements and perform variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform variance analysis and identify areas for cost savings.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare working papers.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial reports.
- Collaborate with the Client Operations team to resolve billing queries and aged receivables.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining process documentation and supporting internal and external audits.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in an accounting-related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
