The Engineering Institute of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Quality Design Management Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Alternative Delivery design quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of the Alternative Delivery design quality team Manager to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Lead project-wide system audits, as directed by a more senior Quality Assurance Specialist or Program Manager.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and audit checklists.
  • Verify quality standards and test procedures for design and product evaluation.
  • Provide quality assurance support to ensure products meet customer and company quality requirements.
  • Ensure sampling plans, quality standards, and quality control instructions are utilized in assessing quality levels of projects and processes.
  • Document evaluation, testing, and correction.
  • Provide recommendations concerning the disposition of defective materials and maintain a continuous awareness of quality problems.
  • Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
  • Work on local design projects or projects across Canada.
  • May provide technical guidance to lower-level engineers, technicians, and inspectors.

Requirements:

This role requires a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in quality assurance and control. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
