Quality Assurance Specialist

At Blackline Safety, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support our manufacturing floor. The successful candidate will ensure that all incoming materials meet the required specifications, drawings, and standards. This role involves inspecting materials, maintaining accurate records, and reporting any non-conformances. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with the Operations and Quality teams to improve quality daily.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet specifications and standards
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and report any non-conformances
- Work closely with the Operations and Quality teams to improve quality daily
- Read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and drawings
- Support quality auditing and process improvements

Requirements:

- Diploma in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent
- 2 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role in a manufacturing environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings and geometric tolerance
- Experience with NetSuite/ERP Systems is an asset
