Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Morinville. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation and Service: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Food service establishment, restaurant.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with the food service team to achieve common goals.
