Business Student

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Student to join our Supply Chain Management team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, collaborating with industry-leading professionals and developing valuable skills to build a successful career.
Reporting to the Manager of Materials Management, you will provide general support to the broader Supply Chain group, including SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft tools. You will also have the opportunity to participate in analytical work, assisting with change and efficiency of work, and supporting local site visits and contract evaluations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing expediting activities for outstanding materials
- Attending offsite meetings and warehouse review meetings
- Assisting with contract negotiations and document preparation
- Supporting buying activities and attending supplier meetings
- Providing general support to the SCM group and liaising with other parts of the region
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be a critical thinker, able to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment. Excel skills are an asset.
Education requirements include being enrolled in a Business Program at an accredited post-secondary institution, with a focus on returning to full-time studies after the work term. New graduates are not eligible for this opportunity.
