Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Night Auditor to join our team at Blackcomb Lodge Ltd. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining the security of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Room Assignments

Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.

Group Arrivals and Departures

Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and accurate.

Room Reservations and Cancellations

Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, maintaining accurate records and communicating with guests and staff as required.

Guest Services

Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.

Departure Processing

Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and accurate manner.

Financial Transactions

Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, ensuring the accuracy and security of financial transactions.

Inventory Management

Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and accurate.

Emergency Procedures

Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the security and well-being of guests and staff.

Clerical Duties

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as other clerical tasks as required.

Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficiency in central reservation systems (CRS), spreadsheets, and internet applications.

Transportation

Own transportation is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Personal Suitability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach and a strong sense of reliability and dependability.
