- Collaborating with distribution and logistics operations to manage all aspects of labor relations and human resources functions;
- Advising the recruitment team to create proactive strategies that address staffing requirements while promoting workforce diversity;
- Assisting in the implementation and execution of HR initiatives and processes, engaging in both functional and cross-functional projects;
- Offering insights and guidance on employment matters, interpretation of organizational policies, recruitment strategies, performance evaluations, terminations, strategic planning, training development, benefits management, collective agreements, and labor relations;
- Facilitating the resolution of conflicts to foster a culture focused on performance;
- Contributing to the enhancement of HR strategies through continuous improvement and best practices;
- Ensuring alignment of employee and organizational interests with HR policies and compliance with government regulations;
- Providing support in leadership development, talent management, performance management, change management, and communication;
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with union representatives;
- Engaging in arbitrations, negotiations, HR hearings, and project teams within supply chain operations;
Qualifications:
- Relevant combination of HR education and experience; CHRP/CHRL certification or advanced education is preferred;
- At least 5 years of HR experience with proven expertise in client relationship management and labor relations;
- Possessing a persuasive and effective personality, a team player, a leader, and bilingual in French and English;
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational, planning, and project management skills;
- Ability to engage with all levels of the organization through consultation, partnership, facilitation, influence, and negotiation;
- High integrity with a commitment to confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient in advanced computer applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and directed individual;
- Willingness to travel as required.
