  • Offering insights and guidance on employment matters, interpretation of organizational policies, recruitment strategies, performance evaluations, terminations, strategic planning, training development, benefits management, collective agreements, and labor relations;
  • Facilitating the resolution of conflicts to foster a culture focused on performance;
  • Contributing to the enhancement of HR strategies through continuous improvement and best practices;
  • Ensuring alignment of employee and organizational interests with HR policies and compliance with government regulations;
  • Providing support in leadership development, talent management, performance management, change management, and communication;
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with union representatives;
  • Engaging in arbitrations, negotiations, HR hearings, and project teams within supply chain operations;

Qualifications:

  • Relevant combination of HR education and experience; CHRP/CHRL certification or advanced education is preferred;
  • At least 5 years of HR experience with proven expertise in client relationship management and labor relations;
  • Possessing a persuasive and effective personality, a team player, a leader, and bilingual in French and English;
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational, planning, and project management skills;
  • Ability to engage with all levels of the organization through consultation, partnership, facilitation, influence, and negotiation;
  • High integrity with a commitment to confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficient in advanced computer applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and directed individual;
  • Willingness to travel as required.
