Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at SHIAZ FOOD SERVICES INC. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility
    • Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
    • Be willing to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Experience an asset.

Work Conditions

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Food Service Team Member, you will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure.

Language and Hours

We are a bilingual restaurant and require our staff to be fluent in English. The work term is permanent, and the hours of work are 32.5 hours per week.
