Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance/ Controls Leader to join our team at Carlisle Companies Inc. as an Industrial Automation Specialist. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in electrical controls, automation, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with process equipment and control systems.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to plant-level personnel on electrical and mechanical maintenance, automation, and controls.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope development, funding requests, and execution.
  • Design and implement machine control systems to maximize equipment productivity and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to develop goals, objectives, and schedules for potential projects and upgrades.
  • Assist with the selection, integration, and installation of process automation equipment, including standardization across applications.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Siemens software and hardware, Rockwell Automation software and hardware.
  • Strong understanding of general industrial controls, manufacturing processes, and electrical wiring principles.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and industrial communication protocols.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with new developments in controls and technology.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data sheets and manuals.
  • Basic project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a combination of office and manufacturing facility environments, with occasional travel required. The atmosphere is fast-paced, and the candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment to meet deadlines and resolve complex issues.

Education and Experience
  • Licensed Electrician/Millwright and/or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls.
  • Minimum of five years of direct practical experience in industrial maintenance, automation, and controls.
