Qualifications- Education: Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in aircraft maintenance.
- Certificates: AME «M» Licence - Aircraft.
- Aircraft Experience: Familiarity with small piston helicopters.
- Conduct adjustments and repairs on systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, and established protocols.
- Oversee and assess maintenance tasks performed by aircraft mechanics.
- Evaluate structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company performance standards.
- Execute repairs and overhauls to maintain adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in aircraft hydraulic, mechanical, and structural systems.
- Install or modify aircraft engines and associated systems including mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain meticulous records of repairs, inspections, and certifications.
- Dismantle and reassemble airframes, engines, or other aircraft systems for repair and cleaning.
- Inspect modifications performed by aircraft mechanics to ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform and document routine maintenance tasks.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
